The Client
Valart Solutions Ltd. is a family-owned carpentry and construction company based in New Westminster, run by Chris Cisneros and serving Metro Vancouver, the Lower Mainland, and the Fraser Valley. The work covers the full range, from rough framing and structural carpentry to finish work, renovations, decks, hardscape, pergolas, siding, drywall, and painting. Insured, WorkSafeBC covered, and on every job in person.
The Problem
Valart had no website at all. Years of strong workmanship and word-of-mouth referrals, but nothing online to show that work to a homeowner searching for a carpenter or renovation contractor in New West, Burnaby, or anywhere across the region. In a category where people compare three or four contractors before they ever pick up the phone, being invisible online means being left off the list.
What We Did
We built Valart a brand new website on the Astro framework. Astro ships almost no JavaScript by default, which means the site loads fast on a slow mobile connection at a job site and gives Google a clean, crawlable structure to work with. That is the foundation for both classic SEO and AEO, the answer-engine optimization that determines whether your business shows up when someone asks an AI assistant for a local contractor.
Chris had something most contractors do not. A real archive of exceptional project photos from years of actual jobs. Cedar deck builds, custom hot tub surrounds, paving stone work, interior renovations. We built the site around those photos so the work does the selling. No stock photography, no generic before-and-after templates, just real Valart projects organized into a portfolio that lets a homeowner see the quality before they ever fill out the form.
Structured content, proper heading hierarchy, descriptive image alt text, FAQ schema, and a clean technical foundation went in from the start. Service areas across Metro Vancouver are called out explicitly so the site has a real chance to rank for the searches Valart's customers are actually making.
The Result
Valart Solutions launched with a fast, properly built website that scores well on the technical and content checks Google and the new generation of AI search tools care about. Homeowners searching for a carpenter or renovation contractor in New Westminster and the surrounding cities now find a professional site that matches the quality of the actual work, with project photography that proves the point on its own.
